The last year of elementary school is worthy of a celebration, especially for our kids who have missed so much over the last few years. Throughout the school year the 5th grade team will use this page as a home base to communicate and collaborate all the end of the year activities.

What Can You Expect?

  • Save The Date: June 18, 2024. A celebration at Rhododendron Park including inflatables, photo booth, hands on activities, food, treats and more.

  • Free custom hoodie for every 5th grader

  • An end of the year slideshow highlighting your child’s elementary years

Action Items

  1. Donate Money Here!

The PTA generously donates a portion of the funds to the 5th grade. However we plan to go big this year! To cover the rest of the costs of all the activities we need to fundraise. All of the money raised will go directly back to your child and any leftover money will go back to Moorlands in the form of a 5th grade legacy gift. Any dollar amount helps and we can take cash, check, or credit card. We have already had a few generous donations - we currently have $1,670 and our goal is around $3k.

  2. Provide Us With Your Contact Info Here

Northshore privacy rules prevent the Moorlands staff from providing us with a complete list of 5th grade parent contact info. We need your info to communicate including volunteer opportunities, photos for the slideshow, and sizing for hoodies.

  3. Complete Your Level 2 Certification - Visit Northshore Page

5th grade camp & the 5th grade party are both considered field trips and require a level 2 certification from the Northshore School District. To volunteer or attend the end of year celebration you must have this certification. The cost is $12.95.

Thank you!

We are volunteer parents collaborating with the PTA, Moorlands Staff, and Administration to fund raise, plan, and execute an end of the year celebration for all 5th graders. To reach out with any questions please click on each of our names. Looking forward to celebrating with you in June!
