A Note From Quinn

School supplies are assembled, the air is turning cooler and I can hear the Inglemoor Marching Band practicing in the evenings. In a blink, summer is over and here we are, ready to start a brand new school year.

Welcome everyone! Whether you are getting your last child off to fifth grade, moving here from another school or just beginning the journey with your kindergartener, this is an exciting time and the PTA is thrilled to be a part of it.

As you try to get your pick up and drop off schedules set and figure out after school programs, don’t forget to add PTA membership to your to-do list. This very important organization helps to fund assemblies, teacher needs, field trips, PE equipment, classroom subscriptions, community events and on and on!

It is also an organization that is working in Olympia to help advocate for our children, pushing forward laws to give them a safe and effective education. On top of that, there are some awesome benefits provided! (More on that to come...)

I hope you enjoy this last bit of summer and I can't wait to meet you as we kick off an awesome year at Moorlands.
