IMPORTANT STUFF

We have an unplanned PTA general meeting NEXT THURSDAY (12/12) to vote on the addition of a line item to the budget and to vote on some grants. Please join us at 7pm in the Library if you can!

Don’t forget, we’re looking to create a committee for after school enrichment! If you are passionate about this and want to get involved, email president@moorlandspta.org!

FUN STUFF

Make It, Take It is Saturday the 7th! It’s a fun holiday craft fair at Moorlands. Come prepared with a little cash and be ready for your kiddo to make some crafts! Do you have a little time to help? We still need volunteers to help set up on Friday after school, and a couple of people day-of on Saturday. Click HERE to sign up, check out more at the Make It Take It page.

Moorlands Cultural Night is next Tuesday! 6:30pm-7:30pm 12/10 in the Moorlands Gym, Come see and learn about the different cultures represented at Moorlands. Eat food, see dancing and celebrate our diversity!

Have some holiday shopping? Snapdoodle Toys and the PTA are joining together to raise money for our school! This coming Monday, December 9th, 10% of all purchases will go to the Moorlands Elementary PTA. Stop by Snapdoodle any time all day and just mention at the register that you're with Moorlands Elementary! As always, Snapdoodle provides free gift wrapping and will even make you a latte while you wait! Support a local business and our school community while checking things off your shopping list!

Did you know that there's a big binder at the front office filled with all of your teachers' favorite things? If you're thinking about giving a teacher/specialist/staff member/person that helps make Moorlands as awesome as it is a gift but aren't sure what to do, that's exactly what that binder is for! Not to mention, some teachers have created wish lists, which are listed on the Wishlist Page (also, keep in mind that gifts are wonderful, but they are by no means required, so no pressure there).
